The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, October 20 reveals Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) want to oust Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) from Chancellor Winters.
Also coming up, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is fed up with Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) scheme. Plus, it won’t go well when Tucker reaches out to Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). And Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will try to calm Jill down.
Y&R spoilers tease Victor will ask Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) about Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) job performance. He’ll say he’s attentive and has gone above and beyond. “His work is exemplary.” And when Victor frowns, Nate will ask why he seems disappointed.” Victor will say he’s not upset, just curious. But Nate will tell him he believes Adam’s concerned about one thing, his state of mind, as is Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
Y&R Daily Scoop – Victor Believes One Will Make A Move
After Nate leaves the office, Nikki will tell her husband she just saw Nate and he seemed suspicious that Victor was acting normal. “You’re doing this on purpose aren’t you, vacillating between lucidity and confusion?” she’ll ask. “Please tell me the truth. I need to know that you’re not losing your mind.” He’ll assure her he’s not. “I’m beginning to discover certain patterns in my children and it’s somewhat upsetting.”
However, Nikki will tell him it’s cruel to make his children think he could be ill. But Victor will ask if it’s any less cruel than the possibility that one of his children might betray him. “Victoria would never betray you,” Nikki will respond. But Victor’s not so sure. He’ll say it needs to play itself out. Nikki will tell him she can’t condone what he’s doing. Plus, if one of them figure it out, all hell could break loose.
“Once one of them betrays me, the rest will understand what motivated me to do this,” he’ll reply. But Nikki will point out Nate is already suspicious. “And don’t forget, he helped you play dead, so he is well aware what you are capable of.” She’ll say he could also share his suspicions with Victoria. But Victor will say he’s factored that in. “Very soon, one of my kids will make a move,” Victor will tell his wife.
At the Chancellor estate, Devon and Lily will facetime with Jill. She’ll say she’s found out nothing about Mamie. She’ll tell them she has to fly to San Paola, so she wants them to stay vigilant. “I do not underestimate your great aunt, and neither should you,” Jill will add. But Devon will say Mamie doesn’t seem to want to undermine the company. “She doesn’t have any power at Chancellor Winters.” However, Jill will say she just knows Mamie’s coming after her.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Tucker Smashes A Glass
Meanwhile, Mamie will not be pleased to see Tucker at her door and she’ll tell him he could have called. He’ll ask her if she told Nate about their arrangement. She’ll say no but he’s her family. “I’m afraid in Nate’s case, you are misguided,” Tucker will tell her. “You are aware that he betrayed my son?” But Mamie will say they’ve moved past that. “He regrets his actions,” she’ll add. However, Tucker will tell her Nate can’t be trusted and will destroy any success they hope to achieve.
He’ll also remind her their target is Jill, who has no business running Chancellor Winters, which was his mother’s company. Mamie will agree with him. She’ll say she respected Katherine Chancellor (the late Jeanne Cooper) and she respects him too. So, Tucker will remind her she doesn’t need Nate. “He was never part of the deal.” But Mamie will tell him it’s non-negotiable. Tucker will tell her good luck luring Nate away from Newman Enterprises. She’ll encourage him not to worry about that, his part in their plan is to get rid of Jill.
Then Tucker will text Devon and they’ll meet up at the GCAC and have yet another tedious conversation about his break up with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). Tucker will also ask his son if they can mend the rift between them. “Sure, if you’re telling the truth and you don’t have some revenge planned for the Abbotts,” Devon will reply. “And you’re not connected to Mamie and my company now.”
Finally, Tucker will return to his hotel room and he’ll send Ashley a text, asking if there’s a way back to each other. “No,” she’ll respond. And Tucker will be so angry that he’ll throw a glass against the door, smashing it to pieces.
